We are soon to open an historic small town Bakehouse as a restaurant and guesthouse. We are renovating the circa 1938 building with its huge old bakers oven in a modern rustic style, incorporating old jetty timber for verandah posts, recycled red bricks for paving and an eclectic mix of pre-loved furniture and fittings. We will be serving tasty wood fired food with locally sourced ingredients.
We are a family owned business with 2 creative people at the helm. We already have a font in mind and wish to incorporate a black rooster as our symbol, based on a wrought iron sculpture which will feature prominently at the entry of the building. What we need is a logo to represent the character of our building and the friendly service and great food we will offer to our customers. This logo will be applied to our signage, advertising, staff uniforms, menus and saleable products etc.
We are seeking a skilled designer who can take our ideas to a new level, with experience of what works in a contemporary yet rustic style.
Our target market is a mix of locals and tourists as we are based in a popular tourism location famed for wine and a pristine natural environment.
We are after a logo which can be utilised for print and digital media and will require files for these. The logo must work well in a single colour with the flexibility to be 2 coloured and we will require pantones for any any colours used.
